White Chocolate Cake

This white chocolate cake is to die for! Our delicious whipped cream and grated white chocolate recipe is a must for all chocolate lovers.

White Chocolate Cake

Ingredients for White Chocolate Cake:

For The Cake:
100 g white couverture
100 g cream
150 g soft butter
150 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 eggs
270 g wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 – 3 tbsp. orange liqueur

For the decoration:
300 g white chocolate coating
200 g cream
White couverture for garnish if desired

Method:

For the coating, chop couverture and place in a mixing bowl. Bring cream to a boil in a saucepan and pour directly over couverture. Allow to dissolve, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Cover a springform pan (Ø 22 cm) with baking paper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. For the dough, roughly chop the couverture. Bring cream to a boil, add couverture and dissolve. Set aside.

Beat soft butter with sugar and salt with the beaters of the hand mixer until fluffy. Gradually add eggs and continue beating on high speed. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in. Add orange liqueur to taste.

Stir warm cream and chocolate glaze mixture into batter. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes. Let cool completely. Cut cooled cake in half horizontally once.

Briefly whip the ganache with the beaters of the hand mixer. Spread one third of the cream on the bottom cake layer and smooth it down. Place the second cake layer on top. Spread the remaining cream all around in waves. Decorate with chopped chocolate coating as desired.
