This juicy and fluffy Pear Cake Recipe tastes especially delicious with fresh pears. The cake is quickly prepared and also tastes great with other types of fruit.

Ingredients for Pear Cake Recipe

100-120 g sugar
1 p vanilla sugar
150 g butter soft
3 eggs
250 g flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2-3 pears ripe
25 g butter


Mix sugar and vanilla sugar with butter.

Stir in eggs and beat everything for about 2 minutes to a light cream.

Sift in flour and baking powder and stir in.

Peel and quarter the pears, cut out the core and cut the pears into thin wedges.

Spread the batter in a greased springform pan / baking dish and top with pear wedges.

Melt the butter and brush the pear wedges with it.

Bake the pear cake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes.

After baking, allow the fruit cake with pears to cool slightly in the pan and cool on a rack.
