Keto Christmas Cake

This Keto Christmas Cake is very easy to whip up. You are guaranteed to love the combination of the full-bodied chocolate and the aromatic spices.

Keto Christmas Cake

Ingredients for Keto Christmas Cake:

5 eggs
150 gram xylitol
150 gram soft butter
100 grams xylitol dark chocolate
150 grams almond flour, not de-oiled
50 grams ground nuts of your choice
1 packet cream of tartar baking powder
3 tbsp cocoa double de-oiled
1 tsp ground cinnamon
juice of one tangerine
a pinch of rock salt
powdered xylitol for dusting


Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff.

Beat the yolks with the xylitol and soft butter until foamy. Melt the chocolate over a hot water bath, cool slightly and stir quickly into the yolks.

Stir in the almond flour, nuts, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon, mandarin juice and rock salt and finally carefully fold in the beaten egg white.

Pour the mixture into a round springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm lined with baking paper.

Heat the oven to 340° F and bake the cake at top and bottom heat for 50 minutes.

Remove from the oven, leave to cool and sprinkle with powdered xylitol. Use a stencil to paint beautiful Christmas patterns.

Cut the cake, serve and enjoy.

Tip: You can also serve this cake with a fruity-aromatic sauce. Simply puree some berries and boil them for a few minutes with cinnamon, cardamom, clove powder and vanilla. You can serve this sauce hot or cold with the wonderful chocolate cake.
