Double Chocolate Muffins

Chocolate muffins recipe Delicious Double Chocolate Muffins are quick and easy to bake yourself. Thanks to the chocolate chips in the batter, the chocolate muffins are wonderfully moist. The delicious chocolate muffins are perfect for children’s birthday parties, picnics and snacking in between.

Double Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients for Double Chocolate Muffins:

250 g flour smooth
30 g baking cocoa
1 pkg vanilla sugar
120 g butter
100 g icing sugar
185 g dark chocolate
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
165 ml milk
2 eggs


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees top and bottom heat. Line a muffin baking tray with paper muffin tins.

Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces.

Mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl.

Melt the butter and add to the dry ingredients with the icing sugar, milk, eggs and vanilla sugar.

Fold in two thirds of the chopped chocolate.

Divide the batter into the muffin tins and spread the remaining chocolate chips over the muffins.

Bake the chocolate muffins on the middle shelf at 350° for approx. 20 minutes. Test with chopsticks! The chocolate muffins may have a little chocolate on the stick because of the chocolate pieces.
