Ingredients for Dog Birthday Cake Recipe:

3 potatoes
2 carrots
500g minced beef
1 handful fresh parsley
1 apple
3 eggs
2 packets cream cheese (possibly lactose-free)
Juice from one beetroot

Method:

Grate the potatoes into small pieces and boil them in a pot with a little water for about 5 minutes. Pour the potatoes through a sieve so that the water can drain off. Grate the carrots and the apple and mix with the minced beef, the potatoes, the eggs and the finely chopped parsley.

Knead everything together until you have a nice uniform mass (consistency similar to meatballs or meatloaf). Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan and place in the oven at 400° for about 25-30 minutes (350° with hot air). I used a springform pan with a diameter of 18 cm.

Take the dog biscuit out of the oven and carefully remove it from the springform pan. Before doing so, cut along the edge with a knife so that the cake does not stick to the edge and break when you open the tin. Leave the cake to cool. A little liquid may still come out of the cake. You can simply dab this off with a piece of kitchen roll. To make the dog biscuit nice and pink, mix a packet of cream cheese with the beetroot juice. Decorate the cake with the pink mixture. Pour the contents of the other cream cheese packet into a spritz mould and decorate the cake further with it. The contrast between the white dots and the pink cake looks great.
