Diabetic Sponge Cake

A sponge cake has many advantages: it is quick to prepare and keeps for a few days. So if you forgot a birthday or would like to have a visit at short notice, this quick, Diabetic Sponge Cake is the solution. You usually always have the ingredients at home anyway.

Diabetic Sponge Cake

Ingredients for Diabetic Sponge Cake:

3 bananas ripe
200 g flour
150 g apple puree without sugar
100 ml milk
30 g butter soft
0.5 packet baking powder
1 pinch salt


Finely mash the bananas in a blender.

Add the applesauce, butter, milk and salt while stirring.

Gradually add the flour and baking powder.

Now pour the batter into a small ring cake tin and place in the oven at 350°F for about 35 minutes.
