Simple Dairy Free Cake Recipe for a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache frosting. Fluffy and chocolaty cake and a creamy chocolate frosting made with only 2 ingredients! An absolute classic and perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients for Dairy Free Cake Recipe:
180 g flour
3 tablespoons baking cocoa
120 g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
5 tbsp oil
200 ml mineral water
one tsp vanilla extract
50 ml vegan cream
50 g vegan dark chocolate coating
First, we take a bowl and put in all the ingredients one by one.
Then we mix these ingredients with a whisk.
Now add 5 tbsp oil, e.g. sunflower oil.
Then add 200 ml mineral water.
Now add a tsp of vanilla extract to the mixture.
In the next step, we take the whisk again and mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
We stir until we get a nice smooth mixture.
Put the bowl with the cake mixture to one side.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350°F top/bottom heat.
Now take a springform pan, grease it and pour the cake mixture into it.
As soon as the oven has reached the desired temperature, put the springform pan in and let the cake bake for about 30 minutes.
Then take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down a bit.
If necessary, you can add a glaze or dust the cake with icing sugar.
Make the glaze by heating 50 ml of vegan cream in a saucepan.
Once the cream is warm, dissolve the dark chocolate coating in it.
Spread it evenly over the cake.
