Small Chocolate Cake Pops on a stick. The cake crumbs are stuck together with chocolate icing, rolled into small balls and coated with the chocolate.
Ingredients for Chocolate Cake Pops Recipe:
For the cupcakes:
1 sponge cake
75 g soft butter
125 g cream cheese
100 g icing sugar
300 g chocolate coating to taste
Sprinkles to taste
15 lollipop sticks
Cut off the hard edges of the sponge cake. Crumble the sponge cake finely with your hands.
Add cream cheese, butter and icing sugar to the cake crumbs, mix together until a dough forms.
Shape the dough into balls (3.5 cm diameter) and chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Melt the chocolate coating. Dip the lollipop sticks 1 cm deep in the chocolate coating and stick them into the cake balls, place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Dip the cake balls one by one into the chocolate coating and leave to drip off.
Decorate the cake pops with sprinkles and put them in a cake pop stand or a piece of foam.
