Best Vegan Chocolate Cake

The Best Vegan Chocolate Cake cake tastes sinfully good and is super easy to prepare. You don’t need a mixer for the chocolate cake, just a bowl to mix the ingredients.

Best Vegan Chocolate Cake

Ingredients for Best Vegan Chocolate Cake:

150 g flour
140 g sugar
30 g cocoa powder unsweetened
1 tsp baking soda
1 pinch of salt
250 ml water
6 tbsp oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla paste or ground vanilla

Chocolate Frosting:
40 g soft vegetable margarine
90 g icing sugar
15 g cocoa powder
2-3 tbsp vegetable milk

Decoration:
Mint
Berries(Strawberry and Blueberries)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F heat. Line the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan with baking paper and grease the sides.

Put the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and mix well. Add the water, oil, lemon juice and vanilla paste and mix to a smooth batter.

Spread the batter in the tin and bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for approx. 30 – 40 minutes. Remove and leave to cool.

Now cut the cake in half twice to make 3 layers.

For the frosting, put the soft margarine, icing sugar and cocoa powder in a high bowl or mug and whip with a mixer until creamy. Depending on the consistency, add 2-3 tbsp of vegetable milk.

Spread the cream on the middle and top layers of the cooled cake and decorate as you wish.
